The Home: Eight ensuite bedrooms across three floors, built to host up to 16 in comfort. With a private bath for every bedroom and more beds than the 16-guest maximum, even a full group has room to spread out, and nobody draws the short straw and takes the couch.

The setting: Palmetto is gulf-front in the private, gated Sunset Pointe community on Cape San Blas, with a private boardwalk straight to the beach and a private 16 by 37 foot pool that can be heated for a fee. A residential elevator serves all three floors.

First floor: Parking for 6 to 8 cars with room for a boat, main entry with an electronic lock, and a recreation room with a seating area and an arcade game. Bedrooms on this level include a street-side king suite, a poolside king suite, and a room with a full daybed and twin trundle, each with its own bath.

Second floor: Two gulf-front king master suites with deck access, a kids' bunk suite with two twin-over-full bunks and a twin-over-twin bunk, a second bunk room with a queen-over-queen bunk and a twin-over-twin bunk, and the laundry. Every room is ensuite.

Third floor: The grand living area with gulf views and deck access, two dining areas, a large kitchen with a wine cooler plus extra seating at the island and peninsula, a powder room, and a street-side king master suite.

Sleeping arrangements: Five kings, one queen-over-queen bunk, two twin-over-full bunks, two twin-over-twin bunks, and one daybed with trundle. Room for up to 16, with beds to spare.

Included with every stay: A $400 beach and adventure gear credit for bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, chairs, umbrellas, and carts, delivered to the house. A delivery fee may apply.

Good to know: The primary renter must be at least 25. Non-smoking. Sunday check-in. Pets welcome for a fee, subject to size and number limits. The elevator is residential grade, and because the cape is remote, a repair can take time, so guests with mobility needs should plan accordingly.
